  • I am an in-network provider with Aetna and contracted with most Aetna plans.

In most cases, Aetna covers 100% of lactation appointment costs for the lactating parent. If the baby is also included in the visit, there may be a small copay if their deductible hasn’t been met—typically between $0–$50, depending on your plan and the Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

Currently Aetna doesn’t cover virtual appointments for lactation consultants, All appointments must be in person.

Currently working on getting in network with Banner Aetna.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Coverage

After insurance is processed, most clients pay between $0–$50 per appointment, depending on their individual plan and benefits.

If you have any questions about your specific coverage please see the Calling Billing & Insurance Tab for more information to call your provider regarding your specific plan.
