Feeding your baby is about so much more than the latch.

Breastfeeding, formula feeding, pumping, combo feeding however you're feeding your baby, you deserve knowledgeable, judgment-free support. There is no "right" way, and I am here for all of it.

From the moment you find out you're pregnant to the day you wean, your body is doing extraordinary things and what you eat, how you heal, and how your baby feeds are all deeply connected. As both a Registered Dietitian (RDN) and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I'm one of the few providers who can support both sides of that equation in a single appointment.

Whether you're troubleshooting a painful latch, navigating low milk supply, managing gestational diabetes, or just trying to make sure you and your baby are getting what you need my unique combination of skills means you don't have to piece together advice from multiple providers. You get comprehensive, personalized care that sees the whole picture.

Lactation Support

Whether you're preparing to breastfeed for the first time or troubleshooting challenges with a newborn at home, I'm here to help you navigate your feeding journey with confidence — without judgment and without pressure.

I can help with:

  • Latch difficulties, nipple pain, and breast health (mastitis, clogs, engorgement)

  • Low or oversupply concerns

  • Pumping support, flange fitting, and pump optimization

  • Bottle feeding, combo feeding, and weaning

  • Tongue tie assessment and referrals

  • Returning to work and managing your pump schedule

  • Infant hunger & fullness cues, weight gain concerns

  • Relactation

  • Formula feeding support

First appointments with baby are typically 90 minutes. Bring your pump if you're currently pumping — I'll assess your setup on the spot.

You don't have to choose between a Lactation Consultant and a Dietitian.

With me, you get both and a provider who meets you exactly where you are.

Nutrition Support

What you eat during pregnancy and postpartum directly impacts how you feel, how you heal, and how your milk supply performs. As a prenatal and postpartum Dietitian I offer Medical Nutrition Therapy for the conditions most common to this season of life so you're not piecing together advice from Google at 2am.

Conditions I commonly support:

  • Gestational diabetes & blood sugar management

  • Nausea, vomiting & Hyperemesis Gravidarum specifically pregnancy nutrition concerns

  • Iron deficiency & postpartum anemia

  • Low milk supply with a suspected nutritional component

  • Postpartum recovery & anti-inflammatory nutrition

  • Food sensitivities in baby through breastmilk (elimination diets)

  • Thyroid dysfunction (postpartum thyroiditis)

  • Excessive or inadequate gestational weight gain

  • Preconception nutrition & nutrient replenishment

Nutrition appointments are also available for infants and toddlers navigating texture progression, picky eating, and early childhood feeding.

Why It Matters That I Do Both

Most families see a lactation consultant for feeding issues and a dietitian for nutrition often getting disconnected advice from two separate providers. When low milk supply might actually be tied to low iron, or when postpartum fatigue is affecting a mother's ability to nurse, having one provider who sees the whole picture changes everything.

At More Than A Latch, your lactation and nutrition needs are never treated in isolation. Every appointment considers both because that's how your body actually works.

Many insurance plans offer unlimited nutrition visits with a Registered Dietitian meaning clients who utilize both specialties often get significantly more covered sessions and pay less overall than working with two separate providers.

Insurance Note:

Most clients pay little to nothing out of pocket for lactation services. Nutrition services may also be covered depending on your plan. One of the unique advantages of working with an IBCLC and Registered Dietitian is that clients often unlock more benefits and have more support options when utilizing insurance because both specialties can be billed, meaning more of your care may be covered than you'd expect.
